Vicki Nielsen

Vicki Nielsen holds her Series 7, 65, 63 and 6 registrations and is an Investment Advisor Representative affiliated with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.  She is a fiduciary focused advisor, and has been securities registered since 2007.  In addition, Vicki holds her Life / Long Term Care / Health, and Personal Lines insurance licenses. 

Clients are often uncertain whether they need a Financial Plan or not.  Vicki is known for her ability to listen to a client's needs, concerns, interests, and goals, and to determine a strategy that is designed for that client's needs and goal.  Vicki has a calming yet witty approach when working with clients, as most of us can easily feel overwhelmed when dealing with our finances.  There are many layers and facets of financial planning, and Vicki helps clients wrap their hands around the information and strategies, and to not get stuck in financial lingo or jargon. In addition to her background and experience,  Vicki has access to the specialists at Cetera should a client's situation warrant it. 

Vicki lives in Hebron with her husband, Mike, their children, Melanie & Jake, and their pooches.  She has a belief that you help to create the community you want to live in, and to honor that goal, Vicki has been very active in her personal and work communities throughout her life.

Community service over the years for Vicki has included:

- Chair of the Women's Interactive Network Group (WINGs) for the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scout Troop 340 coordinator for roadside clean-up service projects, Board Member for the Alden-Hebron Baseball League -  helping to get a new community baseball field built, Graduate of the 2015 Leadership Greater McHenry County (LGMC) Class for Leadership Development, President and Member of BNI Referrals Rock in Crystal Lake, President of the Auxiliary to Centegra Hospital-McHenry and remains a Lifetime Member of the Auxiliary, Emcee for McHenry Chamber's Fiesta Days and other key events such as their annual "Chapters" luncheon / Scrambles / annual parades, Secretary and Member of the Rotary Club of McHenry, and helped to start the Rotary Club of McHenry - Sunrise (prior to it merging with the Noon club), Hebron School District PTO Member, and more.
